Some Exciting FCC Bits

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has been pretty busy of late:

He is quoted as saying "Comcast's actions are like a post office blocking mail", cited by Washington Post in "FCC Orders Comcast to Stop Blocking Some Large Files".
He speaks out against cable rates by saying "Today, consumers pay double what they paid less than a decade ago and they have fewer choices, not more, and they have to buy a bigger and bigger bundle of services if they want to get anything", cited by The Washington Times in "FCC Chief Slams Cable Rates". I'm very fond of this getting attention, to be sure.

I guess the gloves are really off now. tvnewsday reports Mr. Martin will participate in a one-on-one interview with NAB Radio Board member Russ Withers on September 18th in "NAB Gets FCC's Martin for Radio Show".

Can't wait to hear what's next.
