The big news at MIX07 was the annoucement of Microsoft Silverlight, a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering the next generation of .NET based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.
Silverlight took center stage, with demo appearances from CBS, Major League Baseball and Netflix, and with sessions so popular, they had to be repeated, like "Building Rich Web Experiences using Silverlight and JavaScript for Developers".
Kudos to the Silverlight and MIX teams for jobs well, well done!
