MIX07 in Las Vegas - Cross-Platform CLR

Tons of annoucements at MIX07 yesterday, but bloggers seem to agree that one of the biggest things on stage was our release of a cross-platform Common Language Runtime (CLR) beneath Silverlight.

The CLR is the heart of Microsoft's .Net Framework programming model. So, by association, the .Net Framework isn't just for Windows any more.

Looks to be a pragmatic approach. ;)

Amazing thing acronyms....in your industry, CLR means Common Language Runtime and in mine, Child Labor Regulations (per the 40 page article I'm reading at this very moment). Guess its the curse of only have 26 letter in the alphabet:-)
