As you've probably already heard, two rival formats for high-definition DVD players appeared last year: a Blu-ray, backed by Sony and others, and HD-DVD, backed by Toshiba and Microsoft. Both formats boast better quality and far higher capacities than current DVD formats.
The New York Times is reporting that Warner Brothers is planning to announce a disc they're calling "Total HD" at CES next week.
