Seems Nintendo's new Wii controller is proving a big much for die-hard couch potatoes. Some activity-challenged gamers are complaining of aches and pains they'd not experienced playing games before. From a Wall Street Journal article:
"It's harder than playing basketball," says Kaitlin Franke, a 12-year-old from Louisville, Ky. She has been camped out in front of her family's TV, fine-tuning her bowling motion and practicing boxing footwork in two of the Wii's games. Almost immediately, she says, her right arm started to feel numb.
Collisions seem to be another risk to which games are not prepared; flailing arms can impact other players' games, as well as other players, lamps and furniture.
