    MySpace and MyMusic

On the subject of “is there anything you can't do at MySpace”, I just reminded myself I don't post about these guys enough.  They're a significant force on the Internet and deserve far more of my attention.  I work with the teams down there on a number of projects, and I guess I'm too close to 'report' on things that I know.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I just found two articles talking about how MySpace is now moving into the music business in a big way:

MySpace already has tons of bands who share their music; signed or unsigned, the bands get play. This is good for bands and for consumers.  Not so much for labels.

As the online distribution model proves it self (yet again). other catalogs will become available, and other players might just slip into the market (did I hear someone mention 'Zune'?).

    Way to go, guys.
