Thanks to DesignSpotter for pointing me to Kubik, an open-air club near the River Spree.
The club has been open about a month, as of this writing.
The firm who created it is called modulorbeat; a team of three young architects from Munster.
They used 1,000-liter water tanks to build the walls. The tanks are filled with bulbs that can be programmed by the VJs and DJs, or just lit with various colors to provide lighting (inside and out).
When illuminated, the club can be seen from quite a distance up and down the river.
The club is open every day except Monday.
You can bet that I'll be there the next time I'm in Germany.
