    I LOVE my Treo 700w - Part 1

Windows Mobile is definitely slamming into the mobile space.  Thanks to the .NET Compact Framework and enhancements provided by “Microsoft Exchange Server Service Pack 2 (SP2)”, it's a joy to behold.

Om Malik agrees: “Revenge Of Windows Mobile”.  In this post he describes the happenings at 3GSM show in Barcelona and gives space to a guest columnist Matt Maier, describing some of our experiences in the mobile market.

Back to my phone.  I saw it announced last September and read the review at TreoCentral. It's even better than that, once I got it into my hand.  The keyboard is small, but very usable.  I find it odd there's no colon (:), but I can use the soft keyboard for that.  One-handed operation is pretty good (more on this later).

The EVDO network is speedy and I've not found a place in my travels where it doesn't work.  Mail syncs and alerts me when it comes in, allowing me to respond quickly. Browsing the web is a delight, and MSN Mobile lets me search for driving directions: I may never get lost again!

    More in Part 2.

Double Drool!!! Glad to see you've gotten the phone of dreams...If you wish it, it will call:-) Hopefully you didn't have to give up the ever redundant "Push-to-talk" feature...it'd be a shame to not have that...LOL!!

soo soo many comments that i am biting back for the sake of good taste . . .

However, color me green. Verizon (with the right plan) has never let me down, has great customer service, knowlegable reps, and I have to be in a bunker before I lose bars.

I am still in mourning over the slow burning death of my Palm that I used to edit word and Excell Docs.

Imagine that soon we will have the power of a lap-top, portability and ease of use in your pocket . . . . *sigh

I am gonna hand Ms. Rose a tissue and sit here and drool with her
