It's a great time for technology projects, but don't throw caution to the winds

With the prices of offshore technical labor and hardware falling, C-level executives are looking to CIOs and CTOs to augment or replace systems within their organizations.  This is a great idea, and the time is certainly right.  I'm keen to help in these efforts, so write or call me if you've like to know why to use our platform and tools.

Along with the convergence of inexpensive resources, the tools are getting better too.  Integration tools like BizTalk Server 2006, a cost-effective and performant database in SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 to tie it all together; it's a great time to look at some projects.

Don't throw caution to the winds, though; John McCormick of CIO writes of biting off more than a company can chew in “Reaching Too Far Onto the Business Side Can Result in Strains”.
