    Record labels seeking more and more (and more and more and more)

    The record labels are in the news again, seeking more and more from purveyors of their music.  I've been watching this for the past bit:

    The latest?  Newsweek reports “Record labels want bigger share of music profits”, going as far as to require that if a search result contains an artist in their stable that part of the revenue from the ads served on the page should go to the label.  This, along with artists' agents getting into the fray (see 'versus' article, above).

    This certainly raises the question: “how much is enough”?  Or, “how much is too much”?

    wot up with that,does anyone know how i can get heard outside of nz where hiphop in the last year has taken mainstream radio by storm makin it hard for independant artist with funding holla
