PDC05 - Connect to Trusted Access Points Only

I've seen some wireless network connectivity issues, giving rise to a number up peer-to-peer networks with "familiar" names (i.e., PDC05, MSFTWAN, to name a few).

You must avoid connecting to these (or any, untrusted) P2P networks at all costs; while they might be innocent broadcasts, they could be trolls who are trying to hack into your system.

The only wireless network to which you should connect at the PDC is called "PDC 2005" and is an access point (a little antenna), not a "computer-to-computer" network.

In Wireless Network Connection Properties, click the "Advanced" button.  In the next radio box, select "Access Point (Infrastructure)" only and uncheck "Automatically connect to non-preferred networks".
