Drool, cool or tool. In a “bad” means “good” world, I’ve taken a tongue-in-cheek and extremely light-hearted approach to products, people and trends:
v.drool:
- We drool over something incredible because we want it.
- We make a drooling noise with a blank face because we consider it lame.
v.cool:
- We declare something as “cooooooool”.
- We cool off about it because it’s overexposed.
- We denigrate it with a sardonic “oh, that’s cool”. NOT.
v.tool:
- When something does the job that it should and can be relied upon, we consider it part of our tool set.
- When something (or someone) exists for the sake of advancing the company line, he, she or it is a tool (call me out on this).
So, what does the list mean? From nothing to everything; you decide. It’s just a bit of semi-informed and opinionated whimsy on my part: Spot on, dodgy or full of it? Comment in the posts or send gripes and suggestions to TheVDotList@opsan.com.
